I know this is a really petty discussion, but...I feel a real sadness when I have to put away some of Rory's clothes that she no longer fits into. She is just about to turn 13 months, and this week I have really noticed that all of my favorite outfits that are size 6 - 12 months are really too short in the sleeves. So, I am forcing myself to clean through the closet and pack away everything that no longer fits. But, I have a feeling that the one thing which will probably get the "I'll just keep it out a little bit longer" treatment are the green jeans.
Hi, I am a knitter from a little North of you (Wausau), and I, too have a 13 mo. old (nearly 14.) I also find myself mourning the "passing" of the clothes -- "Not the orange cargo pants!" I am especially going to miss all of things I think that a baby boy can get away with (the chartruse polar fleece outfit) that maybe a toddler can't. Sigh. So, you aren't alone!
